My laptop is broken, I’m using my Stepdad’s now - but I can’t promise replies or to be on much, just a heads up
Ryker had decided to stay. As much as he hated large groups, he had reasoned that it was his best shot at finding his sister now. He had looked for years on his own, and that apparently hadn’t yielded any results so maybe it was time he tried working and living with a group. After dumping his things in his designated sleeping area and hiding his more valuable possessions, he had taken to the woods around the house. He had wanted to get a better understanding of the land in case there was a horde that came by. He wanted to fortify the groups position, if only to make himself feel better about staying in a place with a bunch of other people.
As he walked, he also gathered branches that would most likely make good arrows. He preferred the metal ones to the wooden, and though he was careful to retrieve all his metal ones he knew that there might come a day when he needed these wooden ones. Soon he felt he had a decent understanding of the layout of the woods between the rest of Phoenix and the Bed & Breakfast he was currently calling “home”. He also had a decent bundle of slender sticks tucked under one arm. In one hand he held one of the sticks as he carved away at it with his bowie knife, brow furrowed in concentration as he made his way back towards the house.
As he stepped out of the woods he caught sight of a figure standing before him with, surprise surprise, more freaking guns. His gaze hardened at the sight of the pistols being aimed towards him. “Christ.” he muttered to himself. And then to the woman he said, “Do I look like I’ve been bit or scratched? Put those down before you accidentally fire one and draw all the Walkers in Phoenix right to us.” he growled, though there was nothing mean or angry in his eyes. If anything this encounter had strengthened his resolve to not stay for long. If everyone in this group had guns, he was certain that sooner or later the Walkers would be drawn to them, and that was something he didn’t really have the time for.
“Accidentally?” Jessica scoffed at the stranger, dropping her hands to her sides. That was one of the biggest jokes she’d ever heard, ever since the infection, her guns were her main go-to. She had more sense in them than her own body now; but she wasn’t going to say that aloud. She put them back on the holds on her thighs, shaking her head. “I don’t appreciate your attitude, you should understand my precautions.” She narrowed her eyes at him, sarcasm obvious in her words. The girl let out a breath as she crossed her arms over her chest, cocking her head to the side.
The brunette’s eyes scanned the area behind him, lately, every time a new survivor showed up, there was one closely following. The house was slowly starting to pile up, and she knew they were going to have to move locations soon. She’d debated going on her own for awhile now, but for some reason, she couldn’t pull herself away. It was comforting knowing you had other people who were going through the same thing. And now, there was this new survivor. The closer she got to him, the more her curiosity about him inflamed.
Jess held her bottom lip between her teeth as she tilted her head to the side, stepping to him. “What’s your name?” She asked bluntly, shifting her weight to one side. The pull on him was such a weird feeling, especially with the change in people when the world made it’s flip.
Are you okay?
Yeah, just a little scare.
So, this week is Homecoming week so I’ve been out every night. I’m here and replying to everything I see that I missed, like this if you wanna plot or something, please! :)
PS, did I miss anything? I need updates.
Holy new people! Hi, welcome to the best RPG I’ve ever been in.
Anyway, I cannot go through this entire dashboard. So, if you guys can do me a huge favor and like this if I owe you… that’d be great. I know I owe Ryker and Cole.
